So I was told (and it is true) that I just need to sign up to Henry’s Bakery mailing list, where they will alert me of any specials or drop me a $$ voucher from time to time, to receive an instant $10 voucher into my inbox, which is what just happened. I know, another sign up, more emails but hey, at least you can eat these ones. Given they do a fine tradtional long ferment Sourdough which I have also just been hooked onto, I think I am liking Henry’s even more now, and suggest you sign up now too 🙂

Put it on the list to visit Little Delhi downtown for a great curry experience. OK, so I have only tried it once so far but it was so good I am back for more soon! All the low risk trad curries (think Butter Chicken, Masala Lamb, Dhal), plus Potato and Chickpea, Creamy Spinach and a celebration chicken dish served with tomato chutney available only on select days. Indian sweets are a delight, having lived in Newtown, Sydney with its own indian sweet shop I am glad to see these little $2 bites available here. Add a chai tea for $5. Lunchtime Thali also available. 32 Carrington St, Lismore (next to The Audio Room, cnr Magellan St). Facebook
The lovely Jas from the Mumtaj Indian Restaurant family is juggling between his new venture, Keen On Green, in the day while working at Mumtaj at night and still manages to smile and be ever so friendly whenever I drop in. We like that. And Lismore seems to be liking his cafe and food as well. All local produce, mostly organic and buy direct from producers. No microwave, all cooked fresh. Generous pie slices, curries, lentil and tempeh burgers and wraps, yummy desserts, smoothies and juices. Footpath tables in the sun.
